The Frontier Residency reimagines the concept of internships and accelerator programs. We're replacing traditional models with a cluster of hacker houses for 7 weeks in close proximity, fostering a fun and collaborative environment.

We're building a perfect haven for 50 builders aged 18 to 26, who're choosing a different path from the traditional career trajectory and are excited to work on ground-breaking frontier projects across Ethereum Infrastructure, AI, Neuroscience, EdTech, Art and Decentralized Social. Here, residents have the liberty to participate in specific tracks, with the autonomy to navigate between guided and self-initiated projects.

The Residency community comprises of builders (technical and non-technical) all eager to fostering an environment of shared values, curiosity, ambition, and bright ideas all while making a positive impact in their fields. Picture a college campus where connections happen organically, the freedom to build is paramount, and fun is an essential part of the creation process.

Janine Leger is a community builder first and foremost, pushing the frontier of community design and social protocols. She is the co-creator and community lead @Zuzalu, a community pop-up co-created by Vitalik Buterin. She has also built and hosted 150 person community events, as well as multiple extended co-living experiences.

Justin Mares is a dynamic entrepreneur and angel investor. He is the co-founder and CEO of TrueMed, and previously co-founded three health food companies. He also founded Inflection Grants, a grants program that gives small grants to high-potential young people.

In the heart of Austin, Texas, we plan to rent 5-10 houses in Bouldin Creek, along with some apartments, to serve as our living and working spaces. Here, you can collaborate with others, spark new ideas, and find a relaxing home away from home. In addition, we will have a number of third spaces which will act as our communal areas providing spaces for socializing and unwinding, promoting a strong sense of community.
